What counts as evidence?
The database separates candidate sources from sources admitted to a published claim.
Preferred
Official government/utility pages, OEM manuals and bulletins, recall databases, documented market observations, invoice evidence, and specialist documentation with clear context.
Supporting only
Forums, Reddit, social posts, videos, and dealer marketing can surface failure modes or terminology, but do not independently justify precise failure rates or costs.
Freshness
Every published record requires a last-verified date. Time-sensitive fields should be rechecked more frequently than stable model specifications or historical rules.
