Two independent arborist-forum witnesses: the coupler "really ought to be a taper fit on the shaft, or at least keyed. It's neither"; another had the shaft "fatigued off after 19 years." Bandit told an owner they no longer use this system and a different-style repair kit may exist. A dealer quoted the shaft/coupler/pin at ~$544 and feed-roller+shaft/coupler/pin at ~$1,900 (AUD, directional).
