Cost not yet verifiedFeed-drum failures on the BC1500 often trace to the SmartFeed control circuit rather than hydraulics. An owner: "cant get forward or reverse on the feed drum to work. If I hook 12v to the hydraulic solenoid it will work", with the safety and push-bar switches all testing good. A second owner had the autofeed drop out with a false safety-bar amber flash and had already swapped the SmartFeed module, resistor, and feed-pressure sensor without a fix, i.e. control-electronics faults that are slow and costly to isolate.
